The Capital Theatre is a a new 620-seat theatre set to open next Autumn at Westfield London in Shepherd’s Bush, replacing the former Debenhams store. The 35,000-square-foot venue aims to bring audiences closer to the stage, with no seat more than nine rows from the peformers. The theatre will debut with Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story on Stage. The location, near multiple transport links, hopes to make live theatre more accessible to diverse audiences.
